Recently we uploaded two video's to youtube that show gameplay elements in RisingStorm that we have implemented and mirrored from the old game. This first video shows players temple and workshop construction along with bridging and basic combat.
The second video shows the building fade in effect that we are currently working on implementing but the effect is not yet complete and we are still working on adding the sparkle to the fade in effect like in the original and we still have to set fade in timing for each building to match that of the original.
As a note these video's only show early development and are not final versions of gameplay .

Amazing indeed. I see that gameplay is very close to what i've remembered from original game. What Netstorm needs is a greater variety of single player modes and some sort of difficulty scaling. I hope you can deliver this.
Yes single player will allow you to have random map generation and select number of enemy priest to play against and also game modes for random maps. also we are implementing a new easy to to use map editor to make single player missions with in-depth settings for in-game triggers to set events to make long campaigns or just single missions. So players will always be able to play fun single player games against bots in quick action games or against MP players in the skies of Nimbus ;)
That's really nice. I know developers hate this kind of questions but i have to try: any plans for release date? I mean is it matter of weeks, months, next year?
We are hoping to have a playable build with basic MP working soon, but we are focusing on getting it as fine tuned as we can before releasing it and also working hard on getting it all the models textured and content polished.
