How long can you survive the post-apocalyptic wastelands of NEO Scavenger? In the near-future, supernatural activity and human warfare have fragmented mankind into pockets of civilization struggling to survive in wild and dangerous lands. You awaken alone in an abandoned facility with no food nor water, and only a hospital gown and some mysterious items as clues to your identity. NEO Scavenger is a game where you must survive in the wasteland long enough to figure out who you are. Each turn you must decide where to go, how to scavenge for supplies, and how to deal with anything and anyone you encounter. And with each passing minute, the pit in your stomach grows, your dehydration worsens, your muscles tire, and your body temperature drops in the cold autumn air. Choose your starting abilities carefully, because they and your wit are the only tools you have in the apocalypse!

Make sure that this is the type of game you want to play before you purchase it. It is a flash game with bad graphics and UI(looks like a 1993 game) and pokemon style combat, and is more choose your own adventure than anything else. It's quite difficult as well, and has permadeath. If you die your save is deleted. Monsters attack you constantly when it's a hassle just finding food, unless you waste one of your 4 trait slots. I died 5 times, the 5th try I made it to "The Glow" but in order to get in you have to do a quest for the only NPC I ever encountered with dialogue in the game that sends you halfway across the map, I didn't make it back because I starved to death, if I looted I alerted dogmen, if I didn't there was no way for me to get food.

The engine is called "Flixel" it is completely free for them to use so it doesn't make sense that they need to charge for an alpha game.

A very deep, imaginative game. Reminds me of the Amiga days. This is the next big thing for me, can't wait to see how it will grow.

So much depth and complexity, it's awsome. There is nothing out there like it. Also it makes no appologies for being very difficult. Fantasic game.

Excellent game. I find myself playing this for hours. Death is always a move away. It's gripping gameplay and you should really support Blue Bottle. Buy this game!

This game is deep about survival with great replayability. But it has AWFUL interface with small and hard to read fonts, zooming not helping and it breaks the UI half of times. I strongly advise author to focus on building good UI. Also a bit pricey for my taste.

One of the most inovative takes on the survival genre I've played. Simply put, I love everything about this game. It's still in Beta, but the final game shines through the rough edges.
