This is probably still my favourite Need For Speed game. I played it years ago and loved the way the game progressed. Having to start in the old classic Porsche's means you learn the tracks while not having to concentrate too much on tight corners and perfecting your racing line. Then over time you progress through the history of Porsche and on to the latest and greatest cars on offer, by that point in the game you've raced the tracks so much that you know the best lines to take and where all the shortcuts are and the game is still fun eventhough you've played the tracks so much.

On top of the racing mode is the test driver mode which was fun and challenging too, even today the graphics and detail in this game look great. It was definitely one of the best racing games out when it was first released.

This was a fun game, but the lack of a split screen mode was a major killjoy when I was a kid. The maps were great though.

No any game like THIS! True Legend!
Why EA would not pick this amazing game and remade graphics and add new cars and new levels (what a weird word :S) but don't change physics and gameplay? That game will became new legend...

OMG YOU ARE A N00B! Of course EA charges you. You can't download it anywhere. Those are virus. Even if you can find a website to download it, you'll be breaking the law.
