Worked more on this.
So how this works.
First player presses Get maps. Then the game starts downloading a file that contains list of maps(map name, author and version)from our website. Then player can scroll around the list. When they press select a screen pops up. There will be either Do you want to download, do you want to update or (as above) do you want to launch the map. This is bit "not right way" to do it and is little unclear is psp going to have this feature (i higly hope it ;) )
yea that means u will make map packs right so we download it? hope it will be in psp too

This is all possable on the psp. Curl was ported to the psp and it works a charm (used it for the server browser on Solitude).

how does the downloader work?
only for bsp files or as zip file?
because i am using external textures and external models on my maps.
