rounded stairs can cause leaks because of their offvertices, also make your complex brushes into entities

read the description XD its not about people. its about game optimization, they are finding stuff within the map that is messing with performance

use hammer 3.5, you can see those lines in the 3D view, so it's easier to find the leak.

Judging by the layout I'm guessing this is a new map. The door leading to the rounded stairs was a dead giveaway, and the location of the spawn points in correspondence to the rest of the map :)

Leaks are a pain. Check dat pointfile and make sure your brushes aren't too complicated. From what I can tell from underneath the red scribbles the map doesn't look too big, looks about the same size as Wahnsinn.

Good luck with the rest of the map Ju[s]tice.

why don't you just encase the map in an empty cuboid.

Hiding a problem != to fixing it.

Well, i read stuff here like "just make a box around the map and you are done"...

Yes, it IS possible to do that, but its the lazy way..
You can do that in outside maps (putting a skybox around your map) but not in "inside a building" maps...

Use the easy way.
Create a solid box enclosing half of the map and compile, if it works, the box fixed the leak and you're halfway to finding the leak.
Repeat for profit :)
