Narusimu is a project with the goal of simulating the Universe of Naruto as accurate as possible in the form of a 3D MMORPG, or rather MMOARPG (action RPG).

The game is heavily dependant on its community, most updates will be based on community suggestions. Suggestions can be about new content or about making changes to the existing project.

Narusimu is currently being developed for web browsers and mobile devices. A downloadable client will be made available for all major operating systems once Narusimu becomes an actual MMOARPG.

Hello everyone, recently there have been some internal changes.

The Narusimu Team has been expanded with 3 talented people. A level designer who is currently working on our village, a modeler who is working on the base characters with customizations and a concept artist who provides concept art for our modelers.

The way things are progressing, we will easily get a release this year of the highly anticipated Narusimu Version 1.2.0, which is a sort of deathmatch version of the game to keep our community busy while we work on the MMOARPG elements of Narusimu. This early deathmatch version will also allow us to collect valuable data and perfect our combat system.

Right now we are in serious need of more recruits on the team. Check this link out for the fields we are recruiting in and don't hesitate to apply for a position on the team if you find yourself applicable and want to contribute to Narusimu.

That's it for now.

Stay tuned,

- Vreg

Hello all! I just found out about this "project" yesterday and I wanted to say that I am very impressed! I have been wanting to see an naruto mmorpg for the longest time and I am very pleased someone took the initiative to do so. I have nothing but the highest respect for Vreg. I cannot WAIT for the deathmatch version of this game! I wish nothing but the best. The only question I have is when this is farther along, will it be setup like an actual mmo? What I mean by that is will we have like a key single key for chidori? Also, maybe one for shadow clones or whatever jutsus we will have available? Basically I want to know if it will be setup like SWTOR or Age of Wushu. These are the only previous MMOs I have played and I was just curious in that aspect.

Warmest Regards, DevoTheGreat.

You'd find an answer to those questions on our forum but as it is down at the moment, I'll answer them personally.

Narusimu is going for the MMOARPG approach, meaning that it's an MMORPG like another, only highly action-based.
Jutsus will be just about as manual-controlled as is possible in a game, meaning that you will have to know and be able to perform hand seals, and you will be expected to aim at your target.

Jutsus will not be exactly like in the show, but rather created by us inspired by the show like anything else in Narusimu will be. The Chidori that you've seen so far will get a complete rework and will even get renamed. Certain jutsus like transformation jutsu will not be present in the Narusimu Universe because it is not realistic. We are of course a fictional universe, but it is definitely science-fiction and therefore can't feature completely irrational and impossible things.

Making chakra copies of yourself (i.e. shadow clones) does fall within the possible so I'd say we would get a jutsu for that in the future.

There, I hope that answered your questions :) Thanks for your support.

First off, I would like to thank you for the answers you have provided, as I know answering the same questions over and over can get painfully annoying. I am eager to see the site when it is back online and am aware of it's current state. I understand that you are planning on changing some things as to avoid copy infringement as well. Is there anyway to play the version you were displaying in the above video? Or is that something you aren't comfortable sharing... If it is I understand. Once again...

Warmest Regards, DevoTheGreat.

That version is going to get released to donators in a couple of days.

The entire game will be updated for everyone once the deathmatch version of the game (aka version 1.2) is finished.

Donators get access to early builds of the progress we make along the way as a way of our appreciation of their financial support.

For those wondering what's going on with the website, our web host is migrating their servers. It won't take much longer (I think) before the website is up again.

This is not a mod, it's a standalone game that is being developed from scratch, some placeholders are being used like the kakashi character model.. And yeh test the game if it'd make you laugh =)
