To me it was a bit of a disappointment,I put over 300 hours into Warband and that counter will probably continue to rise.A lot remains unchanged and has a ton of bugs.It is more realistic in a way but rising a army is much to difficult , weapons are too expensive as well, especially guns , the arena seems to have bar fights with small bets. You still don't have a take all option when you are looting.Over all If you like a M&B or Warband or ANY MOD for those two, consider getting it,If you want something new and loved Warband like myself, maybe you stick to Warband and finally If you are new to the franchise, maybe this is the game for you over all I rate it a 5/10

Also be aware this is solely my opinion and may not reflect your own experience, people seem to try change others opinions

Ditto that's all I can say,
Though I don't mind the money I spent on Fire and Sword because so far I I've had warband for 2 weeks and my counter is at 60.
Supporting a good franchise from good indie developers is always good.

and with mods the game is near perfect, the only reason I got the newer one was because I thought I would eventually get around to it when I'm done with warband.

I happen to agree. Though I give it an 8/10 because it's still enjoyable. If you've Warband, there's no point getting this straight away. Though if you're new to M&B. You'd probably want to pick this up.

Here's hoping for the next M&B to contain realistic sieges and improved AI.

Definitely not as good as Warband, I didn't like that you could not upgrade your soldiers individually. I thought that the game world was a bit bland; there is no mountain ranges deserts stuff like that
