The Upcoming Napoleonic Wars Patch
So, many of you have wondered whether or not we are going to patch Napoleonic Wars one more time and if so what such a patch would bring, well here is your answer. We are indeed going to patch Napoleonic Wars one more time, and its a big one. We decided to shower you with some pretty nice things that many of you have been asking for!
So, first things first, here you can see a screenshots of one of the new maps we will include in the next Patch, maybe you still know it from Mount & Musket. The first one that will tells us the name of this map in the discussion thread, will get a special award from us:
While giving you all of these nice scenes to brutalise your friends in is pretty fantastic enough, we decided to take a few steps over the awesome line and give you some more. On top of these new scenes, and to go along with our new naval scenery, here is a sneak peak of some of the the units we have added into the game, plus a mighty frigate!
British
All aboard the HMS Neptune!
- Sailor: Keep her afloat, board the enemy, and finish off the Gin!
- Marine: 1st Battalion Royal Marines
- Post-Captain: Command your boat to swift victory on the high seas!
French
Watch out for the Intrepide!
- Sailor, show those scurvy ridden British scum how to handle the seas!
- Marine, 24e Bataillon des Equipages.
- Capitaine de Vaisseau, Intrepide.

Without cheats
i had no idea i would sacrifice so much of my day to this game, kudos Taleworlds, excellent work.
This game was my second love when it came to battlefield strategy. I spent days on end beating the tar out of the economics system. The option to invest in businesses made me a very rich character. When you win a tournament, your first thought should be to talk with the town elder (he loves to play hide and seek) and ask about investing in land. Keep talking to him until you've found the best use for your investing money. Remember to check your end of week sheet to keep an eye on them. Don't be afraid to reinvest. Oh yes... don't invest everything in velvet production. That's asking for trouble.
AI is better here, and they're a little meaner when it comes to pasting your troops in a siege. The extra weaponry is nice, but I'm still kind of sad that they made the metal staff a non lance weapon on horse. It was more than a little satisfying to peg an enemy Lord in the head with it.
Watch your damage type distribution. Remember; blunt for the armored. Cleaving for the archers, and piercing for the less well armored footmen.
Having a household and throwing feasts is an interesting little way to boost your reputation. Just remember, it's really expensive, unless you have the investment spread of a merchant king.
I just got my hands on this game today. Holy cow its addicting, i mean just the single player "campaign" is so deep. For an indie game i really wished they got more credit, it really is a treat for the RPG gamer.
