Mortal Online is a next generation PC MMORPG both in terms of graphics and gameplay. There are no PvP zones, only an open realistic world where you are free to choose your own path. Experience true real-time combat where you decide every move your character makes and where your personal skill really matters. Build your own house, or set up a guild to build a keep. With enough power, violence or diplomacy, you and your allies will be able to rule an entire nation. Choose from many different races and professions. You decide your own style of playing and whether to focus on PvP or PvE, both sharing the same game world. Devote your life to crafting, combat, magic, thievery, trading and more. Discover new skills, tools and resources or be the first to explore new areas to put your name on the map.

Mortal Online, where do one start. I really love this game. I love the fact that you're never safe. I love the fact that there are no Phat Loot. All good stuff in the game are craftables.
Mortal Online offers a sandbox, do what the **** you want, experience like no other. And good thing that is, since where there is freedom to kill someone there will always be freedom to kill someone right back.
The game is quite well policed by other players. But if you make enemies expect to be afraid and get killed a lot, at least until you are skilled enough to kill them back.
The game is heavily based around player skill and not so much around what gear you use or what skills you have trained. Of course this plays a big factor when two equally skilled players fight, but there is a nice balance of skilled players and not so skilled. Also when it comes to groups of people fighting each other the game takes another turn and becomes truly amazing.
On a side note, there are still bugs and issues with Mortal Online that will get on your nerves. I how ever think the good parts far out weighs the buggy parts.
As it is Free to play atm I strongly suggest you at least try it out. It is a refreshing experience compared to all other MMOs out there.

Why do people hate this game? Did you give minecraft a 1 star rating because it had bugs? No you did not (probably). This game is not just potential. It actually is a game, and a good one. I find it wonderful how I will eventually comand an empire! Bugs are a problem, but no big deal to me.

The graphics on this game are good. On full 1080P it's completely amazing on my GTX670. The feeling you get from working together as a team in a group is honestly a good feeling, that you sometimes cannot find in any other game. This game is simply the MOST sandboxiest that I've seen for quite some time aside from SpreadSheed (EVE) Online.
But with all that said, the game is RIDDLED with bugs.
*A below average UI that doesn't respond quickly (Had to be done because dupes were done that way.)
*Programming is sub-par, one thing gets changed, 20 others get messed up. (Original DEV's were bad)
*Promises that were made that weren't really kept.
*PvP is laggy, and complicated, there are too many nuances that must be learned, such as prediction, unbalanced attack moves, etc.
*Certain GM's actually still play the game, and as such have a personal stake in some fights. And are sometimes seemingly corrupt.
*Very silly things will get you stuck, having to resort to getting a GM involved, and sometimes the wait is as much as 2 hours at late night.
Overall I would give it a shot on a free account, and play it for approximately 3 weeks before giving it up. It's not worth the money as it is, but if you're willing to deal with all the above, you really will have a fun time, depending on the guild you join, and how you play.

One of the best sandbox mmos out there, although the pvp puts off alot of people it will always have a special place in my heart.

Rough around the edges, and the community itself could use some good people, but the developers are always looking to improve the overall entertainment value on a low-budget. Definately has potential, as long as the developers don't stray away from their ideals.

I must say that this is one the most intriguing games that I have ever played! Particularly exploring the open world and the deep skill system.

this is a very good game it reminds people on how to make an open world mmorpg and its unique and 1 of a kind its a 10/10 for me but if it was fully free to play 20/10 and by fully free i mean we get the same as everyone and you can buy subscribtion for like a few benifits because free to play players are at a very big disadvantage
