Mortal Online is a next generation PC MMORPG both in terms of graphics and gameplay. There are no PvP zones, only an open realistic world where you are free to choose your own path. Experience true real-time combat where you decide every move your character makes and where your personal skill really matters. Build your own house, or set up a guild to build a keep. With enough power, violence or diplomacy, you and your allies will be able to rule an entire nation. Choose from many different races and professions. You decide your own style of playing and whether to focus on PvP or PvE, both sharing the same game world. Devote your life to crafting, combat, magic, thievery, trading and more. Discover new skills, tools and resources or be the first to explore new areas to put your name on the map.

Very awesome game just started playing this for the first time and really enjoying this but you kind of feel left alone since a lot of the wiki stuff is not filled and some kind of deeper introduction would be lovely. Also a Map would be awesome to know where a certain Vendor in a city is (ofcourse you can search for quite sometime, just as I did but that would be awesome). Really looking forward to later stages in the game :)

I played this game a couple years ago and I have just been waiting for the expansions and updates so I can rejoin it. When I played it, it was amazing. Now with all the additions it has done I cannot wait to try my luck on it again! :D

What's the point of living in carebear land all the time then?
All those cookie-cutter MMO's are the same.

Mortal Online is more realistic, and different, you actually fear getting seen by a horde of enemies in this game, especially if you're carrying some valuable loot, this game will stir up gaming emotions most games will never be able to.

To each their own.
Ever considered that you might be stirring emotions a lot of players dont want or need to be stirred in order to have fun?
If you need these kind of emotions to keep you playing a game, maybe you should not be playing in the first place, do something else instead.
Russian roulette stirs emotions too but not the kind of emotions most people would like stirred.
You are digging yourselves into the grave of mmo niche, because while some players certainly like this kind of stuff, most dont, and the fact that every recent pvp based mmo has been an epic financial fail proves that.

Depends on what cup of tea you prefer I guess :)
Personally I think this is the only way to do it right.

Indeed, i always hated open World Pvp like "PVP Server" in WoW
If you wan't to level, craft, build, someone comes and kills your, goes to the priest and kills you again...

Griefing is quite well player balanced. Unless your out in the wild far from other players.
But either way there are ways around that. I think the threat of death adds so much to the game.

But I agree, PvP servers in WoW which is a game that wasn't designed for PvP in the same way as MO is it is a bigg difference. I would suggest you try it out and experience it first hand. Quite unique and awesome game, though still ofc has its issues.

The most immersive MMO I´ve ever played. I have never had my heart racing as much as when I play this game. If you want a sandbox in the same style and spirit like UO but with better graphics, MO is the way to go. The dev team is very small, but they do wonders with what they have. It´s still unpolished here and there, but I rather have a buggy sandbox like MO then a smooth themepark like WoW. Also SV sommunicate with their playerbase almost on a daily bases, and really take in the opinion from…

If you like shit games with bugs, shady gms and exploits, then Mortal Online is for you. If you like a game where GMs scout for players, command kill players for kicks and berate their subscribers, then Mortal Online is for you!
