The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you create and play any kind of character you can imagine. Be the noble hero embarking on an epic quest, or an insidious thief rising to leadership of his guild. Be a malevolent sorcerer developing the ultimate spell of destruction, or a reverent healer searching for the cure to a plague. Your actions define your character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. Confront the assassins' guild, and they take out a contract on you. Impress them, and they try to recruit you instead. No two sagas are the same in the world of Morrowind. Gameplay is further extended with the inclusion of The Elder Scrolls Construction Set (bundled with the game). This powerful tool is being used to create the entire game, and will also allow players to modify and add to Morrowind in any way they see fit. Change character or creature attributes and skills, introduce new weapons or dungeons into the...
Adds 11 gameplay altering additions that makes playing a thief or ninja, more realistic and rewarding. Comes with 1 extra mod that adds 5 ninja weapons, secret Dojo and ninja suit. Also in the description here is a list of alternate mods that are separate downloads for extra stuff.
What this includes:
Thief Experience Overhaul:
"Put together from a month's worth of research & discussion, this mod was created in an effort to give thieves and stealth-skilled characters in Morrowind a more interesting and rewarding experience, and fixes a number of glaring imbalances in the way some of the thief-oriented systems were implemented in-game.
Improves Lockpicking, Traps, Open Spells, and adds Stealth/Sneaking enhancements based on Weather and Time-of-Day. Available in Tribunal and non-Tribunal versions. Details in the readme."
Morrowind's Stupidest Criminals:
"As the title suggests, this mod is for Morrowind's stupidest criminals--those sociable thieving types who decide to chat up the guards after holding up the local tradehouse. If the guards didn't see you do it, they won't know your crime. And if you do decide to turn yourselfin, just select the "confess a crime" topic and hope the guards take pitty on you because you were born with a brain the size of a scrib."
"Based off the mod by Rasputin, Citizens and Shopkeepers across Vvardenfell will now lock their doors at night - from 9pm to 8am, houses and shops in every city on the island are closed. (Inns, Guild Halls, certain Tradehouses, and other appropriate buildings excepted).
Makes wandering the nights of Vvardenfell feel a bit more appropriately lonely & spooky and gives Thieves and Stealth-oriented characters a self-replenishing source of locks to practice their skills on. Lots of fixes and updates done in this version, See accompanying docs for a complete list of effected cities/locales."
Morrowind Cities Unlocked:
"Morrowind Cities Unlocked brings realism to the game by adding keys to each locked chests and doors in Morrowind's Cities. You can find the keys in the owner's pockets, in his house, hidden somewhere or in a chest. Use your logic to find them! The main goal of this plugin is to add the opportunity for non-thief and non-magic characters to get the treasures behind those tightly locked doors or in those heavy locked chests, assuming you find the key!"
Master Thief's Privileges:
"With this plugin, you can select as target any NPC and hire the Guild of Thieves to steal the NPC's items.
Moreover, if you are a member of the Guild, you can teach disciplines to the lower rank members and be paid for it.
If you are the Master of the guild, you can promote the lower rank members in the guild to a higher rank. "
"A huge expansion on the game for marksman players......no longer do longblade and staff users get all the cool toys! If you find this mod imbalanced just raise the difficulty......it was tested with a non powergamed character at difficulty 66.
Real Marksman combat script, several new NPCs, a shop in Hlaalu canton Canalworks, 3 new playable classes.
Impr bow/arrow sounds, new music tracks, ingenious traps, raise projectile speed
Recovery odds raised to 80%, total of 40 new enchanted marksman weapons, 15 normal arrows"
LockPick and Probe Weight Fix:
"This mod alters the wights of all LockPicks and probes to the following.
-Apprentice's - 0.50
-Journeyman's - 0.30
-Master's - 0.20
-Grand Master's - 0.15
-Secret Master's - 0.10 "
"Heavy Armor and Medium Armor will cause a slight Agility Penalty, making Light Armor or Unarmored more attractive skill prospects for the thief-on-the-go. If the Agility Penalty seems too unattractive, a non-Agility-altering version of the plug-in is also included. "
Kirel's Sneak Attack:
"Gives you an attack bonus after sneaking for a certain amount of time (default 20 seconds) with your weapon ready and without being hit, making a successful strike pretty much guaranteed. "
Kirel's Take a Breather:
"Simple enough concept, allows you to regenerate fatigue faster while sneaking, so long as you don't have a weapon drawn or a spell ready and are standing still, as if you were resting. Works well as a companion to fatigue effect mods."
Kirel's Fast Break:
"Let's you sprint at increased speed in return for increased fatigue drain. The higher your athletics skill, the more of a speed boost you'll get."
The Ninja Mod by Lucas:
Adds a secret dojo
5 Ninja weapons
Complete Ninja Uniform (Light armor skill)
Whew! Got that done. Now you should use SmartMerger to merge the plug-ins so they don't conflict.
Follow the readme and you should be okay. This guide is just for people to know what mods they need.
Download separate mods that add actual content rather than gameplay changes:
