The reviewers say: "I would entirely recommend this game, it’s hours of fun and will not wear out quick. Each twist and turn, every near-miss, you’ll be clinging onto your mouse for dear life!" -Bytten "MMEOR dispenses away with any backstory and just lays on the action – the kind that is fast and furious." -GamesWarp Monster Minis Extreme Off-Road lays on the nitrous in a big way and gets some serious air off with retro racing that takes off-road in new directions. A retro look and a surreal style are only the beginning of the ways that this single-player title takes you back to when racing was a personal experience for as long as you could handle it. With a whopping 90 tracks over 18 themes, you'll be racing for hours and hours before you finish this game on the first run.

Hi, I have trouble to install the full game when the demo was installed before.
I think this is maybe some kind of desura problem too.

What I did ( when I wanted to test for Linux )

1. Installed the Demo
2. I played the Demo
3. Now I activated my desura key for Monster Mini racers I already had in desura
4. the game was listed in my games list as full version and "not installed" now
5. I told him to install and the installation started ( if I remember right a bit more than 300 MB where downloaded)
6. Now I launched the game, but the demo version came up again ( although I said remove all existing files or whatever was asked there )
7. Now I said "Verify files" in desura on the game. -> result was that the game was marked as "not installed"
8. I told him to install and got a message: "there are no available releases for you"

Because i was annoyed I asked my son if he had trouble to install the game ( linux too exactly same system and hardware )
He did not install the demo first and had no trouble installing it.

For now I just copied over his installation from a desura subdirectory and manually launched it with the included startscript " MonsterMinis.sh ".
The game works and there is no trouble running it. But in desura its still listed as "not installed"

me and my sons hard/software:
Ubuntu 12.04 ( Mate Desktop aka Gnome2 )

GeForce GTX 650 Ti

AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor ( 3,4 gHz)

8GB RAM

Yeah, I had a similar experience with the Desura client when testing the installation process. I had to retry several times to get the install to work. The Linux Desura client has... issues.

It's good that you got the game working the old-fashioned way. Hopefully we'll have the stand-alone installer up soon for those who are having trouble with the client.
