Our beta is way underway, a lot of great feedback came in and we're doing our best to polish the game as much as possible. We'll be soon holding additional beta key giveaways on our forums, facebook and twitter.
In an upcoming patch, a lot of graphical improvements will be present, including:
- Better light contrast
- Antialiasing
- Dynamic sky with moving clouds and some additional elements
- No texture streching and a lot of improved surface textures
- Clipping reduction of textures and better LOD streaming for some textures
- Expanded user options for graphical configuration
- And more!

The minimum requirements didn't change much. The difference is about 5 FPS max.
I prefer the old lighting has more atmosphere to it :D.
