Here's a preview of our current HUD (Heads Up Display).

Early HUD

All displays shown are fully functional. The missing displays soon to be added are armor, game mode specific indicators/counters, and the score board. We currently do not plan for any radar or minimap displays.

Here's a preview of the "Weapon Screen" which will be accessible from the Main menu. This screen allows layers to view every weapon in the game and its stats.

Weapon Screen

The upcoming alpha release (no set date yet) will feature a small portion of the weapons to be in the final version and some of the classes.

I plan to have two choices for every weapon type (Assault rifle, SMG, etc.)

Confirmed weapons to be in alpha
M4 Carbine (Assault Rifle)
FAMAS G2 (Assault Rifle)
SCAR H (Battle Rifle)
M14 (Battle Rifle)
Mp5 (Submachine Gun)
MAC 10 (Submachine Gun)
M249 SAW (Machine Gun)
HK-21 (Machine Gun)
R700 (Sniper Rifle)
PSG-1 (Sniper Rifle) R870 (Shotgun)
Armsel Striker (Shotgun)
USP (Pistol)
Desert Eagle (Pistol)

As far as programming goes, this game is almost ready for a multi-player pre-alpha release. It has basic gameplay in place, a QC base created entirely from scratch, many features that set it apart from other indie games in this community, a vast aresenal of weapons, and partially implemented multiplayer features (class system, weapon attachments).

Unfortunately we just don't have mappers or texture artists and that has dragged the game's overall quality down where it's just not acceptable for even a pre-alpha release yet.

I have other projects and at the moment I don't feel like putting any more work into this particular one until we can get mappers and texture artists. I would like to see it get done considering how much work I've already put into it. Perhaps, I could try recruiting another team to continue development.

Bro isit that hard to learn Mapping?I mean basic ones.Make like a few speed maps.Thats why Quake had custom maps.So if u make basic ones, we can choose what maps we want. The thing that sets your game apart from others is the great weapons and gameplay.

First of all, I already do the programming, 3d modelling, and 3d animation for this game. I've tried doing level design many times both for Quake and Unreal and it just isn't my strong point.

I want someone specialized in mapping who is experienced and skilled at it to make sure the maps quality are up to UW's standards.

And you forgot that we need a texture artist too.
