its called being origial but no this game isnt good just because you think the guns dont look like real life. just so you know this game isnt based off real life so all of you back off for **** sake stop moaning and do it yourself.
I added some stuff to the model and changed the image to version 2 of the chaingun.
here is an actual mini gun. you have 2 extra pipes and it needs to be spread out more in the back. meaning: the cylinders should be further apart and it needs a handle connecting them.

it looks very highpoly comparing to the other guns, whats the polycount? iam very sure you can reduce the polies on the barrels and put in some more detail istead... it looks rather booring to me
You're right, staring at the chain gun model should be more entertaining than playing the game itself.
This model actually has roughly the same amount of polys as our other guns.
which is why all the guns suck mate. Try looking at other games for reference and see how low poly it can get without looking bad. Then try again

For your information, I know quite a few tricks in Blender3d that gives a model the same exact shape using less polys.

I always use those when they're able to be used. I don't recall saying I didn't use them so I don't know what your problem is.
So the engine doesn't support normals? In that case you can still put a lot of work in textures to make it look better. Still, I suggest you find another engine.

A normal is the direction that a poly faces. In a 3d game engine, a poly only shows from one side so it doesn't have to be rendered twice on both sides. The normal tells the game engine which side is to be shown. If the engine supports 3d models, it supports normals.
Looks like the barrels are hollow? If so having them caped would be better poly wise.
