Wow. zombies are goddamn intelligent here. they can't navigate half blocks or ladders, but they can navigate a small maze, just to get to you. amazing! but only for zombies.

also, from now on, deleting ALL "first" comments. it's childish and pathetic. get over it :T

Why the hell they reintroduced that annoying collision for ladders? Just becouse some whining players of parkour maps weren't able to use one of the many mods that gave back that collision? Come on, it's odd and annoying as hell, it's nonsense and that kind of ladder simply shouldn't have a collision. That was a good step forward and now we get this shameful step backward...

I've seen hundreds of comments on the ladder issue when it popped up in the 1.1 update

You're the first I've seen that says "fixing" it was stupid

I can understand your point but it is a feature which people liked and used a lot. I think Mojang should create a new ladder block to replace that function then remove ladder collision.

They did it because it broke a lot of adventure maps.

I know that, and it's stupid, extremely stupid, the maps are made around the game, not the opposite.

I agreed completely, until I realized many survival maps/creations used it (then again, it is the creators fault). I think the best solution is to remove the collision box but keep the ability to stand on the top as it was (a one way border).

My idea for how ladders should work is a bit different. Collision would be necessary, but they could be placed free floating as long as some ladder had a block behind it for support at a point. Of course, if that block is removed, they'd all break.

Enhanced Zombie AI sounds interesting, but I really wish that NPC's would actually be more useful - the sooner the better.

I gotta say, lookin' pretty sweet.

As time goes on, hopefully Minecraft molds more into what it should have been when it officially released.

Just realizing, when I travel and dont take my external with me, how useful a cloud service for save games would be.
