More statistics and achievements will be added over time as we develop the game. They're only stored locally at the moment, but we'll slowly be rolling out online storing of achievements over time.

Ever since we got the office started, my inspiration for blogging here (On the Word of Notch) has slowly declined over time. I still enjoy doing it, but I never quite have the time or feel the need to do so. I wonder if that means this blog is dying? I hope not!
Hmmm, I do hope you'll be making lightning an actual threat in game, seeing as its also the deadliest force of nature out there. Every disaster has its shock value, but NOTHING kills like lightning can. Basically, you are a rare one if you live after getting hit by lightning. Heck, it even accompanies most disasters as well.
Okay, it might be a bit much, but it would make things more interesting. :D
It'll be awesome if there was an achievement like that. Something like, get struck by a lightning and survive xD
Or the creeper just spontaneously blew up! =D

If lightning strikes a creeper, it becomes electrified and blows up with quite a bit more power.

The rain... The rain never stops... It stopped when I deleted the map...
it does stop after a while (i had a 2,5 days long rain). it's a bit annoying because the skeletons and zombies won't die
Many people have problems that it lags, but for me it works better than before =D
Um I found a glitch - you can't place anything on a block covered in snow >< Hopefully it gets patched?
I can use MC at far with 15FPS.
I have a laptop with 3GB ram and an intel graphics card.
this makes me happy :D
I can use MC at normal with 10fps...well i dunno but i get lag on MC even if i turn all programs off :|
I can run Minecraft at 40FPS on far, and always could... My computer isn't anything special either... Maybe anyone who thinks it should maye run better check your power options, it might be on balanced rather than high performance (applies to desktops too!)

What you need to improve is that when the rain hits the water it should bounce not contuine falling through water...
that is a new bug.
I dont know, theres something about watching rain/snow fall underwater....so mesmerizing.
