Report article RSS Feed Halloween Charity Skin Pack on Xbox

Today we are releasing a very special Halloween Skin Pack for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. It’s special because all proceeds will go charity! The Skin Pack is 160MSP and all 160MSP (about 2 bucks) will go to good causes. 4j Studios, Microsoft and we have chosen different charities where the proceeds will go. We chose the Block by Block project where we are supporting UN Habitat to rebuild different places throughout the world.

Hey hey!

It’s been made by a bunch of great developers (hello Rare, I loved your games when I was a kid!) around the world. I’m super happy that we managed to organize this, and I want to say thanks to all the developers that helped make this happen, but also to you. You get awesome skins AND do something great at the same time. And this is the first time the skins got capes! :)

To read more about which charities we have chosen to donate the money to, please go here.

To see all the skins go here

And if you want to go bananas and support this skin pack now, go here :)

While I agree that not all the skins are great and there are repeats, it's for charity so you would also be doing a good deed. Don't if you don't want to but the more skins the merrier.

Poor console-derpers, having to pay for texturepacks? Dear oh dear...

Its better to just send the money directly to charity.

By all technicality, as Mojang have no publisher/are their own publisher, they are still indie.

I'd also ask you don't intentionally provoke the Minecraft fanbase through childish swearing. Do so through rational argument or opinions. otherwise, you simply look like a troll.

Sure, Minecraft's on Xbox. Xbox is the worst console ever due to it's elitist fanbase and horrible motion controls, in my opinion. But the more people able to experience and enjoy the free-flowing gameplay of Minecraft, the better.

I totally agree with you good point. I play both and i have noticed lots of people on Xbox are very abusive and ignorant.

I hope they bring out texture packs for the Xbox 360 edition. They have already gained loads from skin packs so there's a good reason why they should bring out texture packs. It will definetly be worth there while.
