Don't destroy one block at all or you'll cause a cave in. Rather fun when you're in a large cavern roofed with sand or gravel.

I just saw that in my game too :S
its a common occurance for sand to float like that.
bop one and they all fall down but if you place torches under them they'll break the sand thats falling

All too often I'll try and light up my surroundings by placing a torch only to trigger a terrifying gravel-fall.
ITS AWESOME i like this bug if u break 1 of the sand cubes everything falls down its awesome i hope he doesn't repair this bug

ye i was digging in desert and whole big area collaps to find there was a cave under:P
Put a torch on it!!!! Do it!
they wont break if you stand under them and hit one, try it!
Ive found this one too while exploring world. Haha this happened to me so many times.
That happened to me once too,but with gravel.
I was like "What will happen if I touch it?" and...you know what happened.Anyways,I didn't die =P
