a preview of the Tooltips function, to be added at Beta.

Yeah... about smooth stone being cobblestone...
This should be optional, I don't think that everybody needs it, it would only spam my inventory when I passed my mouse on something, my inventory is always filled ._.
This is the right idea.
Most games that rely on tooltips include an option somewhere in their menu to set the "Tooltip Delay", which is how long your mouse has to stay on something before the tooltip appear. Usually, the choices are something like this: "Instant", "1 Second", "3 Seconds", "5 Seconds". There's also usually a tickbox to turn them off altogether. Both of these sound fairly simple enough to implement, and would be more than satisfactory for everyone. I'm sure you wouldn't mind even having them always on if they were set on a 5-second delay ;)

Yeah making it optional sounds like a good plan. Just to make it easier for everyone. :)

no...i've got a better idea...Eggs+milk=??? ???+furnace=CAKE
What about, milk, eggs and flour = Cake dough?? Then the grain could be used for more then just bread.
And animal skins for leather to make tents!
Or furniture..

the cobblestone error will be fixed. I just discussed it with jeb. and by "just", I mean three hours ago, and only just remembered to tell you guys :P

Maybe we can throw eggs in beta while still being able to cook with them. So in smp that guy being a douche you could egg his house :P
