Looking closer at the creepers face you can see a skull faintly in there.. creepy indeed.
Good Gods youre right, scary stuff.
The Gods are dead if that exists.
Makes me wonder: What are the creepers exactly?
They're the possessed remains of a ghillie-suited recon unit who were sent to MineWorld to... well... gather resources. They brought explosives in their pockets, as backpacks would slow them down.
When the unit finally arrived in MineWorld, they were quickly overwhelmed by the local spider populace. Notch wandered by, tried to revive them back to perfect health with his Godly Dev powers... and failed miserably.
The ones that were just killed were turned to zombies, the ones that were eaten by the spiders turned into wandering skeletons, but for some reason the spiders only at the ones not carrying explosives. Guess they didn't like the taste.
Anyways, now you have skeletons, zombies, and special forces demo-men in full ghillie-suits running around MineWorld. No wonder they're so good at sneaking up on you.
Notch coded biomes to try and freeze the worst infested sectors while leaving the rest of the world intact.
The purge continues....

I'm not fond of the zombie, as it's unrecognisable as a Minecraft zombie. The Creeper is just fantastic.
The zombie looks akward, and I dont think that its a good poster. I mean, it is cool but it ends up becoming more of an extra, like what would the game look like if it was next-gen or something. It doesnt have the feeling that it belongs to the game although having its characters.
Its kind of like that Super Meat Boy image that makes him really detailed, it is cool but its more of an extra then something to represent the game.
The only bad thing about this is that theres no spiders

the creeper scares the **** out of me if minecraft had these graphics it would be scarier then fear MAKE IT LIKE THIS NOTCH I NEED TO BE SCARED!!! lol jk minecraft can still me hella scary playing at 3:00 am on a friday at night hearing zombies in a tunnel u just found or worse... creepers and all u got is ur diamond pick axe and 5 stacks of cobble and some iron.... AWSOME NIGHT :):):)::):):):)
I **** my pants every time I see a creeper, regardless of graphics... There's something about exploding pile of leaves that can creep behind your back without you even knowing that scares the **** out of me.
It need more Blocks :D.
If the monsters in minecraft looked like that, i would **** my pants whenever i played it. Hell. I find the zombie noises scary when your in a dark mine....

mah new wallpaper. though id like it even better if it only had that epic-creeper-that-looks-like-a-cactus. id write a text saying ''diamond miners? not in my watch!'' next to the creeper.
lol creeper looks like an cucumber to me, i like to eat it for some reason
did anyone else notice the skull inside the creeper head?
