Mindworld is a First Person Action Adventure Game developed with UDK. In January 2011, the project was started. The player gets into the role of Katherine Evans who suffers from depression and is looking for answers in her subconscious mind, which she enters via lucid dreaming. Throughout the adventure, the player has to collect clues, solve puzzles, fight enemies and overcome obstacles in a surreal dreamworld that slowly turns into a fearsome nightmare. Mindworld is divided into four chapters and offers multiple endings, which are influenced by the decisions the player makes during the gameplay.

Requirements:

• Efficient workflow
• Strong foundation skills
• Strong texturing skills
• Well-organized data management
• Teamplayer
• Past work to show

Bonus:

• Strong skills in presentation
• Experienced with single client work
• Experienced with studio work

You are going to work along with other professionals, as we have every position filled (we are around 20 people in the team). We can show you further material upon request. As we are working with professional concept artists, you can always expect top notch material to work with. Just like we expect top notch material for our level designer to work with.

Your task:

The main task is going to be the realization of environmental assets to help building the levels. You're going to work with your own photo references or given concept art. It's always possible to ask for further material from our concept art department, if required. We are expecting that you are also experienced in texturing your own models. However, it's usually possible to have help from our Texture Artist to optimize your final model.

Benefits:

This position gives the great chance to work with an extremely dedicated team, which uses real deadlines. It is ideal for portfolio work, as you are also going to be allowed to use the finished professionally work from our other artists. We are looking for a team player, as this is a position in a very dedicated team.

We are working with profesionally made model sheets, weekly schedules, weekly analysis and master designs to make sure that we stay focussed and produce high quality content at any point.

Required time:

The full position requires a minimum of 10-20 hours per week. It is also possible to join as a side contributer (internee position), which would require a minimum of 5-10 hours per week.

We use our forums, DropBox and Skype for the exchange of data and information. There are no monetary rewards.
