Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators.

Over 2 million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.

There is a new enemy. There is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1.

This will be a total rip off of COD MW and MW2 and soon CoD:BO

Why always there should be terrorist and why now jumping 6 decades and not doing korean or vietnam storyline?

Atleast one game of Korean war?!?Is that much?No epic battles betwen South Korea and USA against North Korea and Chinese that sent help to prevent defeat of Communism in North Korea??Is that much?

Also why not Vietnam, there were some games but what now?Afraid that Vietcong 1 and 2 will still be better in some ways like gameplay?

EA is going down people, a VC guy shot him with AA flak guns...

Also why are you not working cross platform?I wish to kick Xbox360 and PS3 fans and see them crying =D

You can't have a game be a rip off of another game when it's already been through most of development when the ones you claim it copies are coming out.

Nobody cares about the Korean war, sad but true.

BFBC2 is doing a Vietnam expansion. A game about Vietnam, if realistic, would be incredibly boring. Vietnam was a mess and regardless of what the US say the Vietcong were the good guys.

They can't work cross platform because when Microsoft and Sony had talks about it before with the release of Endwar it resulted in nothing and with PC vs 360 they decided it was a bad idea because PC players had the upper hand using a mouse.

"the Vietcong were the good guys."

Now, I -do not- agree with the U.S.'s involvement in Vietnam, but try saying that line to some post-conflict Vietnamese or Hmong immigrants and their families. I know a few here myself, and their families witnessed firsthand how "good" the Vietcong really were after the war had ended and the communists had taken power. Even a good amount of North Vietnamese/ Vietcong soldiers saw after the country was unified that Vietnam was not being transformed into the nation they had originally fought to establish.

There's a reason the U.S. and other nations saw a huge boost in Vietnamese and Hmong immigrants/ refugees over the years following the war (and no, I don't just mean a year or two after the conflict, I'm talking into the 80's and 90's; in fact my state has one of the largest, if not the largest, Hmong immigrant populations in the U.S., not to mention a large number of Vietnamese immigrants as well). The Vietcong turned out to be anything but the "good guys;" or, if nothing else, the nation and its governmental rule that was brought about as a result of the North Vietnamese-Vietcong victory was anything but "good."

Well, while that is true, It is true that during the war itself, the vietcong had more interest in the common good of the people than the Americans, and certainly more than the ARVN, therefore they should be the "better guys" in a vietnam war game, just as the soviets are seen as better guys in ww2, despite their actions at other times.

Stalin and the effect of his rule was horrific, but had hitler won on the eastern front, there is little doubt the ss etc might have exterminated the whole russian people. It also begs the question how much so are the british "good guys" considering their rule of India and teabagging (literally :p) of China, or the Americans in san salvador, Vietnam etc. Bottom line: there are never "good guys" in war, only those who represent the greater good of more people.
