Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries is a battlemech piloting simulation and part of the Mechwarrior and Battletech universe unleashed by FASA Studios. In April 2010, MekTek received permission from Microsoft to release the game for free using their MekMatch torrenting program. Now that MekTek has refocused its energies on Heavy Gear, it is up to the community to keep the classic mech piloting tradition alive. This group will also serve as a platform for downloading new content created by the community, including new maps,mods and mech decals, some of which have been hosted by other enthusiast sites.

Did you utilize the download option for MXC's icon in your system tray? I just did it a second ago and it still works. :P

I'm running win10 (yeah...I know..) and when I right click the thumbnail > install > Mechwarrior 4 : Mercenaries, I get the following message
mechwarrior4mercenaries.all.to.51.03.01.0028.mtx file not found. Is there a fix for this? Thanks so much!
I think whoever is hosting it might be having a network issue.
In THAT case, check the Readme for Clan Coyote's website, and download directly from them instead. :P
I was hoping someone can finally figure out how to make mechs? *Ahem* ya know it would be high time to see something like an Assault version of the Cougar or Uziel.
