Introducion

EQ gunkatasv3.0 is the last version from the talented animator Lazer.
This time with the help of Wiktorus Pro they built something which is known as a TC.
The EQG team is proud to present finally their work.
The modification is based and inspired by the movie Equilibrium.
The coolest thing in this TC are the gunkatas.
You can kill multiple enemies with gunkatas being more effective than by normal shooting.
The mod contains swordfighting aswell meele beretta where you use your guns as a weapons without shooting.
(everything is made from scratch)

uh, sounds like a stupid question, but i can't get past sean beans charater in the the church, is that a glitch?
It is possible to beat Sean Bean's character in the church.
On another note, I really like this mod. It appears that all of the moves that Preston does are straight out of the film. The character models are really well done, and I like how each character has different animations. The story line was a great addition too. I especially like the dark room first chapter: Epic!

i dont think its a good mod,i cant even aim wit the "comobs" and there a bald guy who's impossible to kill(at least i cant killed him yet),a levels are short.....once i played hall of mirrors and the combos were much great there.....
This is one of the best mods for MP-2, much better than "Hall of Mirrors".

i put in in the max payne 2 directory and there is no "customised games" list like the readme says there is in the game menu
When you go to start up the game,the launcher that says "Play Game" "Options" or "Exit" under it theres "Customised Games".You can change them thru there.Select none when you want to play the normal game.

i put the file into the directory and it doesnt show up in the custom games list, its an rar file, the icon is different from the ones that do work, anyone know what could possibly be the problem?

You should unrar (unpack) the file EQgunkatasv3.mp2m from that rar archieve and then put it into your game directory.

amazing, but brutally hard. if you use up the total of i think 10 painkillers in the levels before the room with the pillars then you are dead. it was hard getting used to the change from hall of mirrors but the effects are much nicer like muzzle flash. and a story mode that takes more the a few minutes to beat.
well I´m starting to download it now,I´ve got HALL OF MIRRORS mod,but as I see,this will be better...can´t wait,to try it.....:DDD
After the Olympian standard that HOM set I was very much looking fwd to getting into this one. And yes, it is outstanding in some ways - the moves are phenomenal to look at, and it's a truly cinematic experience trying them all out. However the mod suffers from balancing issues, and a few odd inconsistencies.
For instance, one of the playable characters becomes virtually invulnerable for near infinity if you just hold C down while he lays waste to everything around him, and the end boss was ridiculously easy to beat (first time) by just running circles around him while dishing out the bullet buffet non-stop. Also, sometimes the game won't allow you to inflict damage while in slo-mo, while at others it's fine with it - seemed random to me.
The boss in the 'sword' room was bugged - I killed him before I'd finished with his henchmen, then had to kill him again when I finished his goons off!
All in all though, very impressive achievement. The squad segment I particularly enjoyed - would be excellent to see more mods with this kind of team play incorporated.
PS I think user 'Dogumms' (above) should pay for legal copies in future, like anyone who cares about supporting developers should.
