Firstly, I would like to say that I've become an enormous fan of Mass Effect ever since the first game. Mass Effect 3, despite all negative criticism,was actually the best video game I've played. I've learned to love the trilogy. SPOILER ALERT!
The ending however, left me slightly unsatisfied. Sure it's somewhat good for headcanon but the ending just left so many questions unanswered. I chose the Destroy reaper ending with over 7000 Effective Military Strength, and even got to see Shepard survive. My biggest issue was that we don't get to tie up any loose ends after. I felt as thought they should have allowed us at least 5 minutes more of game play to find out what happened after, meet up with out love interest again, and see our friends that we loved playing through the series with. I would have also been satisfied if one of the pictures in the slideshow maybe had Shepard with his love interest (For me I played through 3 times. Once for Miranda, another for Ashley, and then I fell in love with Liara and was very satisfied with her.) I liked that at least the crew wasn't willing to accept he was dead and got off the planet as soon as they refrained from putting his name up on the memorial wall however. I guess the rest is just for us to decide what happens. I really wished Shepard could have another game. Maybe someday. But Mass Effect was the greatest series I have ever played in my entire life.
