Mafia is a 3D action game, played in the third person. The player assumes the role of a gangster in an American city of the 1930s, and gets a chance to live through gangster's rise and fall. In a spell-binding story of human hunger for power, he will experience everything that was taking place in the underworld during this stormy period: high-speed car chases, bootlegging, assassinations, and bank robberies. We set the story in a huge, fully-functional city, created 60 vehicles to choose from and more than 20 missions filled with non-stop action. The gameplay does not end there with over 40 little and large mods available, this game is great!

Most of you are wondering what our Mafia Multiplayer 2007 build will contain, here is a list of features that our “alpha” build will contain.

- Driving (Basic driving, no drive by, passengers are synced though)
- Shooting (On foot, no car)
- Walking/Running
- Scoreboard
- Server Browser (MAYBE)
- The player limit is still undecided, we will probably head for 100 players for the test.
- Chat
- The basic stuff, no fancy things

ONE LAST THING, CAR COLLISIONS ARE NOT SYNCED.
You have to understand that this what we can give you before 2008. Some of you may be disappointed as you have been hoping for more, some of you may be extremely happy with that. This is why you have two choices and they are the following:

- Either we release a build before 2008 and leave you with the basic stuff and unplanned bugs (But of course we continue working after the release, duh)

- OR we continue working on the beta and remove the 2008 release(This means more features and less bugs, just a bit longer)
