An overview of the things to come. Including multiplayer, difficulty, redesigning, and downloadable content!

So, currently, Machina is in a finished state, but there are still many updates and content additions that I want to do. Before I fully release Machina, where I'm fully satisfied with the game, with a steady stream of DLC, I just want to get the following:

2 Player
Currently, the controls made use of QWERT. I plan to add YUIOP for a local 2 player mode. I will not be adding online, as in all honesty, it isn't needed, and I don't think I have the skill to properly implement UDP either (I could do TCP, but that'd be slow. ;p).

Difficulty Modes

I want to add an easy, normal, and hard mode. Easy using QWE, normal using QWER, and hard using QWERT, and tempo increases per difficulty. I also want to add an invisible mode, where notes scroll halfway, disappear, and you have to figure out when it hits the block. ;p.

Error Handling
A bit of a silly one, but Machina currently has no form of handling errors at the moment, so I just need to make a system that does so.

Menu Redesign
The current interfaces are fairly temporary. I'll probably keep the title screen and the ingame selection, I'll also need to add a scoring screen. Speaking of which...

Scoring!
I want to add a proper scoring system, made up of hits, misses, combos, and combo-boosters. Of course, this relates back to the menu overhaul, which, if anything, makes this a near clone of Guitar Hero...on that final point...

Downloadable Content
I'll set up a DLC site on Sleepy Studios where various packs of different music will be available to download. There are already 45 pieces within the game, and I plan to have 60 balanced and well chosen pieces for the final release. After that, any extras you can download from the site. It will ALWAYS be free, considering we have no rights to the songs anyway, and I'll try and go for free-to-use songs. And that also brings me to say that we'll be converting from MP3 to either WAV or OGG. At the moment, I'm debating whether to go for filesize or quality. I'll probably go for OGG Vorbis, considering I'm not licensed to use MP3.

Well, thanks for looking! If you have any suggestions, please, go ahead, and if you like the progress, feel free to watch the development, and try it out!
