Lumber Island - Indie/Horror/Adventure/Quest. You awake to find yourself in a life-boat ashore an island, and the last thing you can recollect is having fun at a great yacht party. A bit of history: Back in 1970s, this island was known as the "Lumber Island". It abounded in rare wood species of the highest quality, which were sought for by the craftsmen from all over the world — many of them took trips to the island in person, to pick the best material. The island thrived on private manufactures and tourism... ...until deposits of oil were found under it. This finding doomed the island: its inhabitants were made to leave their home land, the wood was chopped down to the ground. And after the oil had been pumped out to the last drop, the island was left abandoned and totally exhausted. This is the official story. The real truth lying behind it is for you to discover... Technical Requirements (for MAX Quality) Intel or AMD 3500Mhz 4Gb RAM GeForce GTX 650 or AMD Radeon 7750

I plays almost every day in different kinds of horror game but whatever of kind boring is boring and nothing more. There is big difference between Penumbra, DreadOut and Mental (for example) but if game is repetitable it makes me yawning.

i'm not angry, it's just i don't understand how people can say a game is "boring", just because it don't scares you, doorways is an indie game from a country with no videogame industry at all, so, don't call doorways a "******" game if you don't know anything about it ;)

Maybe I will explain you, ok? As I see producers of Doorways know HOW TO make games. But they had no good idea for GAMEPLAY. And what we have got? At beginning it is like go, jump, go, jump, turn left, jump, turn right. And all the time similar. I was very curious of this game and I was dissapointed - ghosts seems like hand-drawn sketches. Way to first house (with torture chamber) is definitely too long. Also jumping is also bit borring, especially if you felt down and need to repeat.
SO next time my proposition is to put alpha or beta demo of game here - all of us want to have fun playing games and if we writes there's something wrong it's our real feelings so producer may makes some changes before game will be realised. And I hope next time Saibot will do it.

"doorways is an indie game from a country with no videogame industry at all" - so what? because of Internet for making video games you don't have to live in Sillicon Valley :)

As much as I appreciate this offer - jump scares are more often then not just cheap and boring. So have fun with it. I appreciate build-up and atmosphere, not some loud stinger that hurts my ears.

I can't submit my video to the gallery. Every time I click the submit media button on the event page this message appears:

"You do not have permission to add the requested media content."

I have joined "The Halloween Jump Scare Contest" event and I am tracking it. What else can I do to make sure that I can upload my video? Can anyone help? Thank you in advance! :D
