ok so its been a little while since the last update so I thought I'd bring you some insider news on whats happening in the LTKTBM camp.

The new AI structure is now ready for implimenting full TBM code, what does this mean, well several cool things.
1. full SAI code can now be implimented, this means the bots can now be made to behave in a specific fashion be it camp,patrol,charge,form team formation. This is both part of the learning code (i.e. they learn to use these behaviours) and can be cotrolled in mission scripts (see below)

2. Mission scripts are now well on their way to being properly implimented, theres a new addtion to AQ2 for these missions which I'm keeping under my hat atm, but it allows the speed of play be slowed down without decreasing the speed of players. currently there are three types of missions planned for 1.5:
rescue the hostage (AI player).
kill the leader (AI player).
and capture the gold (protected by AI players).
With protect the VIP (AI player) planned for the release after next.

3.Bots will become much less likely to commit suiside on maps with lots of dangerous areas such as those with gangplanks accross very high areas.

Mission scripts are in the form of simple text scripts that set up a mission, such as spawn points and mssion goals and can easily be added to maps with node files (we currently have 15 tested and 57 awaiting test). This means the release after this one will focus on further testing of these routes and bot behaviour, as well as implimenting protect the VIP.

Missions can, of course be played alone or with the assistance of other human players (as well as bots at a later date).
