Lost Silence is a game developed by me(SlaughterHaus). It takes place in the Midwestern United States in a alternate reality, in the year 2009. This world(And it is our world) is somewhat like ours, except the fact that there was a deadly outbreak of a virus. This virus wiped out hundreds of millions of people all over the world before a vaccine could be created. Though the virus may be gone, the law and order of a normal society is non-existent. You must survive and try to ally with whom ever you can. The end product will include: 500+ Weapons and weapon modifications, A 100-200 sq. kilometer map, and a player modification system(Clothes, basic skill tree), and a detailed and intricate story line.
Yes, this picture is real. Ingame this is going to be called a Long Blade. Originally this was a machete, and the handle broke. I got carried away.
I used a crappy phone camera for this. When I take a picture of this for the texture, it will be with my Nikon.
if you do, since this games going to be post apocalyptic, i'd change the goldish colored part of the handle and change it to duct tape.
Also, instead of only working on weapons, maybe you should take a little break, work on the map a bit.

I had that idea too, the cleaner version will be my melee weapon(Bloodsinger) for multiplayer(The devs have special weapons for MP). I'll edit the texture in gimp or something. Also I can remove the blade and put it on another piece of wood, which would also look better.
Yeah I am working on the map, but I'm not going to release anything on it till a later date.
