How about then adding some graphic once reaching level 5 to signify that its the max level? And some warning about the level cap as well, so newbies can plan their upgrades a bit better.

Also, as the guns become less and less effective with every wave, without additional upgrades it's quite easy to run into a wall. I'm assuming by wave 40 it would take 20 headshots with the rocket launcher to down one of the enemies :)

Decided to check Noob mode out, got 210k points by Wave 28 before dying to carelessness. Damn those red gunners are HP monsters. Only way I could figure out to take them out is with 2-3 point blank face shots with the Shredder gun. Is there a better method??? The black assault rifle (or is it an SMG?) Gets the job done too, but spends too much ammo. Even the laser gun becomes useless soon enough except against the small explodey ones.

Basically the Shredder up close seemed to me the only viable weapon by mid to upper 20s in Noob mode. I can't imagine that strategy working on a higher difficulty setting.

Also noticed that I stopped gaining XP by level 5. Is that the global level cap, or is it determined by difficulty level? It's a shame I couldn't do all the upgrades...

And is it intended that grenades and the rocket launcher only get 15 credits per killed enemy? Considering both are in such a limited supply, I'd think they should give the normal amounts. Of course both become quite useless by the mid 20s...

By the way, I installed the 1.0.2 version, and I can't find the option to invert the mouse. Though after this much playing, I've already gotten used to non-inverted aiming.

This game is awesome, reminds me of the good old times I had when playing horde on gears of war for the first time... plain awesome!

At first glance Livalink appears to be a generic shooter. But upon playing its 2 selectable levels, you see how little variety the game has to offer. The level design consists of a few dull, short, near identical hallways, and a few tiny, uninteresting rooms. The enemies that I saw were basically the same visually, with only differences being in height, width, and hue. Weapons were limited.

Overall the game was dull and repetitive.
