Post news Report RSS Liberico - Latest Progress & Upcoming Kickstarter

Hello, and welcome to our latest news update! My name is David, and I am the Project Director of Enraged Entertainment. I am here to inform our watchers about the latest progress to our FPS; Liberico.

Posted by on

Today, I will be addressing the latest progress we've made in regards to Liberico, our current issues, and our future plans.

Current Issues:

First things first, we've managed to recruit some more artists, however it seems as though for every artist we gain, we lose another. At the moment, we've managed to recruit a couple more 3D Artists and a concept artist. However we are now in need of a new VFX artist to create the special effects we need for our game, such as muzzle flash, explosive effects, destruction effects, etc. Without the VFX artist, we will not be able to create a presentation video for Crytek, and the future kickstarter. On top of that, we are also in need of a 3rd person animator. A few more environment modelers would also increase the pace of our workflow.

Latest Progress:

Next, in case you may not know, we're still inching towards the Alpha phase for Liberico. The Atacama Desert is still in the works. Thanks to our Lead 3D Artist, Oskar C. and our Senior 3D Artist, Bee L., we've managed to get the terrain's shape complete, and have been working on some assets for the map, such as this warehouse:

Aside from the warehouse itself, our Lead Concept Artist Jeff Y. has managed to lead our 2D Artists into the concept phase of our upcoming Kickstarter campaign. He's also managed to not only work on the concepts that are needed for the Kickstarter, but concepts that gave us a great perspective at what the map should look like as well, and how it might be played out. Here's a picture of the WIP heads-up display system:

Oskar has also managed to incorporate the hall-way you've seen in our past pictures into this warehouse:

We have many more assets that are still in the WIP phase that I will showcase in our next news post. So for now, this is all I can show you in regards to our latest models. When we start to design the Harbor section of the map, we will also showcase the exterior of the warehouse.

Future Plans:

At the moment, we are only planning out our Kickstarter Campaign, and do not have a set date for it. We still believe we need a larger audience behind our project before we open up the campaign, to ensure that we get funded. If we manage to get the funds we need for this project, this will allow us to actually purchase the licenses we need in-order to go commercial.

End Report:

That is all for this news post, thank you for taking the time to read it. Just so you guys know, we're still trying our best to reach the Alpha phase, we're still looking for more artists to join our team, and we're hoping to become an established studio within the near future. First off, I must say your progress so far has been astonishing even with all the setbacks that have plagued you guys. And i must wish you the best if luck for your very promising project. But i must ask, why do you have to make a presentation video for Crytek?

So we can apply for the royalty license for the CryEngine 3. Thank you for the feedback by the way.

One more thing i almost forget to say, please go absolutely all out with this and do not be afraid to go insane and add lazer beams. And, have you considered reaching out to prominent you-tubers to spread the word? And one more thing, make sure to have recoil or many people will go insane with unjustified rage....

Yes, we've considered contacting YouTubers so we can spread the word. As for going all out, I will see what we can do about that. ;)
