Lemmingball Z is a fighting game for linux and windows, loosely based on dragonball Z, the hit anime' And when say loosely based, i mean with a big twist' Instead off the normal characters from the anime, this game features cute LEMMINGS bashing eachothers skull in! The game is released, and new versions are always in development.

Full version of the next generation Lemmingball Z, including .exe for windows and binaries for linux as zip file
Features:

-- please make sure your firewall allows the updates
The dark side:
LBZ uses the OpenGL2.0 standard:
- old graphiccards are not supported
- half-old intel graphics do not support OpenGL 2.0 and can not run the game
- The game should switch to a fallback rendermode if the high-end renderer is not supported

P.S.: several people had problems running the game. In all cases, these troubles were caused by their firewall blocking the autoupdater. make sure the updater can pass your firewall in order to start the game
P.P.S.: in case you think you need to reinstall LBZ, please make sure to delete the directory "mydocuments/LBZ ALPHA Game data"

I got the same problem, it sucks like hell that i can't play the game...
downloaded from here and unzipped, no problem to run it - moddb also checked it before adding it to the downloadbase...
If you still have troubles with the zip, try the .exe version
figures out that the zip compression i used was not win compatible - new zip uploaded and tested with win default extractor... sorry guys
how do i get the windows compatible version?

i downloaded it like 20 times D: and whenva i get to the character place it stops working and crashes
sounds like a hardware/driver problem... unfortunately, this is a problem only you can fix

For some reason i can't find any servers on the server list?.. Do you guys got the same problem?
LBZ is an arena game - there are no dedicated servers, the people in chat have to decide who hosts and join the host - players with green nicknames are hosts, and red nicks are ingame
my video driver crash but i have one of the first version of this and runs good why???
My game doesnt have anything no maps or characters only theyre names but when i play it shows space and nothing more
I got also the Problem that there are no maps and Charakters. I Could choose and play them but i see nothing.
Ive got it all but it keeps saying theres updates nomatter how many times i update it just comtinues "there is an update"
When I download it installs the game data and then says the Open GLL or what ever shader isn't supported by my system and says Intel Pintpione or something
if you system does not support the shaders of LBZ, you can try to update your graphicsdrivers... however, if your card does not support openGL 2.0 or higher, there is no chance to run it
any chance to (re)upload the older 2D version of lemmingball for nostalgic reasons?

ok, instructions to cleanly reinstall:
- goto your mydocuments folder
- delete the folder "LBZ ALPHA game data"
- restart LBZ from the place where you unpacked it

i kanot play the game every time i click on the exe. it says cb9engine_11.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. how do i fix plz help
OK, so I downloaded it and extracted to my downloads and then double clicked lbzwin.exe and it started. then said something like this is the first time on here... downloading game data or something like that and then said restarting so i clicked ok and then it said ^could not read source.....^ wtf is up with the arrow things and now when i try to run lbzwin it starts the loading icon on my mouse pointer and then just stops and does nothing???? HELP ME PLEAZE!!!
I have such a strange problem. My game simply will not open. I hit the EXE, but all it does is open the outline of the game. I need to know the fix of this, please help~!

Alright, I think I've gotten the console for it. It tells me that it cannot open, "tmp/updatorOutput.xml.gz" And that there is a suspicious response.
And to that extend, what are the ports for the updater?

@ all with troubles:
The port to open for the updater is UDP 27097
If something went wrong and you need to reinstall LBZ, make sure to delete the folder "mydocuments/LBZ ALPHA Game data"
If it says "Renderer not supported".. then a) update your graphicsdrivers or b) hope we get an altternative renderer working in future

I cant play it says SDL.dll is missing so i cant play.But i see it right there,whats wrong with it?
it won't be opened with me , but also it helped me , I taked levels and add it for 8640 or 8460 or somethink like that and , im trying to add players , if it open with me someday , I'll be so happy ....
When i update it it says "Cannot read data/cb9gamedefaults.xml", cant move my characters no matter what i do, suggestions?
