The Chalet v1.1
May 5, 2013 The Chalet Full Version 0 commentsFixed bug that causes the game crash. Removed some conflicting elements.

Set in the immediate aftermath of the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead's survival co-op mode lets up to four players blast a path through the swarming zombie hordes and terrifying mutant monsters. Guide your survivors across the rooftops of an abandoned metropolis, through rural ghost towns and pitch-black forests in your quest to escape a devastated Ground Zero crawling with infected enemies.
New technology dubbed the "AI Director" is used to generate a unique gameplay experience every time you play. The Director tailors the frequency and ferocity of the zombie attacks to your performance, putting you in the middle of a fast-paced, but not overwhelming, Hollywood horror movie.

The Source Filmmaker (SFM) is the movie-making tool built and used by the staff at Valve to make movies inside the Source game engine. Because the SFM uses the same assets as the game, anything that exists in the game can be used in the movie, and vice versa. By utilizing the hardware rendering power of a modern gaming PC, the SFM allows storytellers to work in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get environment so they can iterate in the context of what it will feel like for the final audience.
To celebrate the announcement of the SFM, They've also released "Meet the Pyro", the ninth installment in the "Meet the Team" series. Like all of Their animated shorts, They made it using the SFM.
If you're interested in making movies and games in parallel, sign up for an SFM beta key and start shooting your movie on location inside the world of TF2 today.

Survivors must wait for rescue in the central square, but the infected lurk.

OPEN YOUR EYES FOOLS!
Valve never said they wouldn't support Left 4 dead
They said they would make a new game but does this mean they are just going to shove aside left 4 dead and make left 4 dead 2 take the spotlight? It doesnt at all.
You would think she would shave that! lol
Hey, quick introduction before I get on with what I want to really say. I'm a brand new member and I don't have any semblance of a reputation on this site, so I'm not trying to be pretentious or have un-warranted self-importance.
However, I have a (very) basic idea for a L4D mod. Since I have no skills in programming, modelling, or mapping; all I have are words on paper. As it stands I only have the idea for 4 new characters set in the city of Montreal during the winter of the first year of the new zombie-apocalypse. What I would like to do with this is provide more information and work on more information for any team interested in making such a mod. Please send me a message and I will give you far more information on said characters (a bio of each one) as well as some ideas I have for gameplay mechanics. If I find someone(s) who shows interest, I will be happy to write even more backstory and help with brainstorming for campaign themes.
Much obliged, Teh_Caspy
Yeah,i think they sould make it an update
i can barely wait till l4d2 comes out.
the reason valve are making l4d2 is because perhaps they need extra money to make these new updates and make half-life episode 3
'L4D2 boycott group' = 'people that annoy you', really, Valve has updated the game yet again. Be happy that Valve even updates L4D, they also could just do it like EA did with 'Tiberium Wars' and acting like a ****.
Yeah Valve didint change that euro **** they did like wtf, I live in Europe so I have to pay 150% for the game and in Uk they pay like 50% the cost, like Wtf is up with that?
Valve always making profits if its income can keep up with their bandwitch and service costs. This company produces no or very less cd's in the market. So they can easily change their game prices whenever they want it, example: Left4dead costed 50 euros on Steam, then after few weeks 30 euros. After the ''2 weeks rebate'' they set the price 50 euros again. Later 40 euros and NOW 30 euro. Its like Steam dominated some games markets! o.0 little MONOPOLY!
