Venture into Darkness

Turn out the lights, take a deep breath, and prepare yourself. Explore the depths of the immersive, atmospheric world of Kraven Manor. Uncover its secrets, solve its mystical puzzles, and face the growing threat within.

Discover Secrets

Kraven Manor challenges the player to explore an expansive manor to discover the mysteries that lurk in its dark corners. You have the power to dynamically alter the layout of your environment by interacting with a miniature scale model of the manor, located in its extravagant entryway.

Become the Architect

Dynamically build the manor around you. Find miniature room models and carry them back to an increasingly elaborate scale model of the manor. Adjusting the model causes rooms to move and appear in real space, awaiting your arrival.

Face your Fears

Each new room exposes revelations into the troubling past of William Kraven. Face your fears and see if you have what it takes...the doors of Kraven Manor await you.

Just in time for Halloween (and the weekend!), you can finally purchase Kraven Manor on Steam!! To celebrate our launch, the game is available at a 10% discount for the next week--so be sure to spread the word!

Thank you all for believing in our project and supporting it to be Greenlit on Steam. It has been one heck of a journey since starting work on this as students at SMU Guildhall. For most of us on the team, this is our first actual game to both work on and release--seeing it come this far is absolutely surreal. We are forever grateful for everything you have done to help get this into people's hands and sincerely hope you enjoy the final experience!

You can purchase the game in the Steam store here:

A truely marvelous game. It had just the right kind of atmosphere and you could really see that the developers had but their heart and soul into creating the game.

I really enjoyed playing the game and I think it was awesome how you didn't really use jumpscared. I always have enjoyed games which instil fear through the atmosphere and not monsters jumping out of the closet.

Only drawback for me was the 'boss fight' near the end of the game. It kinda ruined the experience for me. Ohter than that the game was quite flawless and well worth the time!

Thank you very much for the feedback, Merciana! We'd love to hear your extended thoughts on the boss fight if you're willing to share them with us here:

Yes, the UE3Redist that pops up while you're installing is required for the game to run correctly. Once you run that, the game should install and you should be able to access it via a desktop and/or start menu shortcut. Feel free to contact us directly if you run into any issues:

Also, how come I am limited to 30FPS?

The game isn't even using 20% of my GPU. CPU wise it's 20-30%.

Sorry to hear the 30 FPS cap is preventing you from enjoying the experience. While we do not have an in-game way of lifting the cap at this time, there is a manual way of doing so on your own installation that you can read about here:

Also, to answer your other question below, we were never an Amnesia Mod--Kraven Manor was designed around and developed in the Unreal Development Kit from day one. -BK, Kraven Manor Developer

Could've sworn this was an Amnesia Mod. When did it go to the UDK?
