Hello and welcome to the new home for Krasten on the web! For those of you who don't know, Krasten is a game project I've been working on for about a year and a half now, though many elements of the game are taken from older, scrapped projects that never saw the light of day. The game is an RPG/MUD-like -- which is to say, it's heavily inspired by the old Multi-User Dungeon games of yore, the precursors to the more modern and familiar MMORPGs, though Krasten is entirely single-player.
I'm planning on releasing this game entirely for free -- with continual updates over time -- when it's ready, as it's more of a personal project/hobby to me, rather than an attempt to get rich. Donations are gratefully received, though -- I have a Ko-fi page set up over here -- and will help keep me fueled with caffeine to speed the development process.
Future development updates for the game are largely going to take place here, as well as on the game's Twitter account (which is still being set up at the time of writing this article). It's still early days and it'll be a long time until I'm happy with the game's status enough to release public alpha builds, but keep your eyes peeled for more screenshots and updates coming soon!
