They came, they saw, they conquered - or so they thought. They didn't expect a resistance, after destroying our cities, mutating our people and occupying our planet they expected us to die. No - they are the ones going to die. They will pay for what they've done. They will pay with their blood in full! KILL THEM ALL! The last surviving solider of his squad vows revenge on the alien apocalypse. Kill Them All is a purely action driven first person shooter where the player faces mobs of enemies down with an assortment of military and alien weaponry. Kill Them All in urban cities, forest valleys, mountain ranges, military compounds and establish a foothold on the aliens home world.
We decided each class should have it's own arms, check out the progress for the Contra!

With thefor our something was missing; arms! Rather than a generic set we decided each class should have their own:
We developed the arm within stages; first is a basic block out in order to do the rig for the skeletal animations, this is important as to avoid any serious polygon warping which'll make the texture look heavily stretched/distorted. After setting up with the foundation of the animations we continue to add further polygon detailing in key areas. Then it's onto the normal map, first a high poly mesh for the hard surface details, second into sculpting the fabric shape and then doing the fine detailing; fabric texturing, threads, etc.

Next is onto the texturing, you'll notice the blue camo, we're still trying out different textures for the Contra. We're really digging the blue, let us know what you think!
We're working on the fine tuning details of the animations, particles, etc. for the Jackhammer right now.
