As Halloween approaches, horror games can kick it up a notch, Killing floor always does so in style and this year is no exception.

This years Killing Floor - Halloween Horror, Boasts a free steam weekend (few hours left) along with new DLC, a new map set in a demented nightclub & a new official mod.

Toy MasterThe Toy Master mod, replaces the zeds with toy dolls that love to chase you with knifes, scissors, sawblades and cheerful smiles, with their heads flying satisfyingly off on headshots.

Set in possessed doll house, your goal is to protect the jumping chests from the assaulting waves of toys.

Failing to do so results in an epic boss battle, A giant jack in the box.

The mod was created by Tripwire Interactive's Art Director David Hensley, with help from Killing Floor originator Alex Quick

Only problem is nobody uses teamwork on any of the servers...You just pop in and try to use teamwork and they just wander off hunting zombies on their own with their m14 and leave you to die at the hands of 2 fleshpounds wielding a pitiful 9mm...

There is teamwork, but it's more along the lines of counterstrike zombie mod teamwork than it is Neotokyo or L4D on the hardest modes. Teamplay happens out of necessity as it's nigh impossible to kill a fleshpound on your own (and they arrive in pairs). Just stick with the group, kill what you can. Or join a server on round 1 and skip all the catching up.

I don't know, I find there to be a higher degree of teamwork and team communication necessary at high difficulty than appears in the other cooperative titles you mentioned - though general communication is less prevalent. I like the fact that almost every person still playing Left 4 Dead has a microphone, but it doesn't really seem like they know how to use that edge to advantage normally, and most people can coast along without active discussion.

Highest Rated (8 agree) 10/10

this is definately, BY FAR, one of the best games i have EVER played...
Freaking HUGE arsenal (over 20 weapons)
Different enemies (10 to be specific)
Zed time (slow mo)
Different diffuculties: begginner, normal, hard, sucidal and hell on earth
Seven different perks to choose from: field medic, support specialist, sharpshooter, commando, berserker, firebug and demolitions

In general: FREAKING DAMM GOOD!
