A cooperative survival horror experience set in a variety of nightmarish and surreal settings. Band together with your team-mates to defeat increasingly overwhelming hordes of freakish enemies and eventually - a horrifying boss.
- Solo game mode for offline play
- Watch those crucial and violent creature deaths in slomo “ZEDtime”, even in multiplayer
- 9 different monster types trying to eat your face off, armed with everything from teeth and claws, through to chainsaws, chainguns and rocket-launchers
- 12+ weapons for the players to chose from, ranging from knives and fire-axes up to pump shotguns, rifles and a flamethrower
- Add in a welder, medical tools and body armor to help the players survive

- Players choose which Perks to play with, so they can best balance out a co-op team to survive the horrors

- Full support for Steamworks features, including Steam Achievements and Friends
- Fully-configurable, allowing players to change things as simple as the difficulty level or number of creature waves, or go so far as to set up their own favorite waves of monsters
- Includes SDK for the creation of new levels and mods

How to play / Install :
SERVERPERKS OPTIONAL : YOU CAN USE YOUR NORMAL PERKS TOO
(though you will disable the Dead Space HUD theme)

1] Download the files
2] Drag contents of the zip file to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor
3] Enter Killing Floor
4] When the download is completed you will see "Dead Space : Killing Floor" in your GameType selection
5] When you chosen the GameType, select your map
6] OPTIONAL : After the map select the mutator "Server Veterancy Handler V6" from the mutator tab
7] Start the game
OPTIONAL : After you have subscribed to ServerPerks you can edit how you wish to perk in the ServerPerks.ini file (Its a text file. Windows lists these as "configuration file"). You will find this file in :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\killingfloor\System

Its crack. That's all I can say. What's not to love about a cooperative zombie genocide game, with a very good variety of weapons (everything from grenade launchers, to chainsaws, to automatic weapons), perks, and mutators? The game is very unforgiving though, and some of the perks are useless in harder difficulties. It's addictive, fun, hard, and you can have fun with 5 other people.

I bought it today because of Steam sale with a major doubts about game's color scheme (honestly at all this screenshots colors looks like a mix of puke, **** and blood to me) because it looked nauseating to me, but boy I was wrong! The game looks totally different in motion. And plays great! Teamwork is everything even at normal. Cover your buddies' backs lads!
For current price you should buy it without hesitation!
This is indeed the best co op survival horror game ever made. In fact, it could be the best co op game ever. The atmosphere, gameplay... It all ties up perfectly. If you don't have it right now, go get it, it's worth every penny.

I hate to say it but ever since killing floor went 75% off for the previous weekend, the servers are now filled with noobs/newbs combo. They don't do jackshit to help the team win. They don't share weapons or return them back, they don't share money at all, they leave the game the moment they die or the see less than half of the team alive (despite only a few specimens left) ,they don't stick together and once they do die (which happens always) they go typing "omgwtf how did i die?" in some ******* manner, they don't bother helping someone being attack or overwhelmed and heck, even the medics don't heal. Sure its good for the dev of KF but a god damn script or something to prevent anyone below level 4 of a perk shouldn't be allowed or able to enter Insane and Hell on Earth would be bloody nice. Maybe Hard since these dumbasses can't even handle a group of Clots by themselves. God damn brainless players who don't give a damn about tactics or even the slightest bit of teamwork.

They are new to the game just like you were when you first started playing the game. Players like you drive other people away from playing games because they get shouted abuse at for not being good at the game.
I could name a few games "couch Dota... Cough counter-strike" (sorry for my bad cold) Give people a break. If you don't like playing with all the new players then play with your friends instead...it is of course a Co-op Survival horror designed to play with friends. :)
Yup playing with friends is a good Idea instead going with the new guys in a server

Hi, i had this problem as well and have found, that if you clear ALL MUTATORS it will sort itself out.
To do this if you don`t already know, from the main menu click: host a game, then click on the mutators tab, then click on clear all mutators.
This should sort the problem out, has worked for me & my m8`s
