Tripwire has just announced the next free update for Killing Floor!

Posted by NoxiousGhoul on Jun 23rd, 2011

Tripwire has done it again, another great "seasonal" event starts June 30 and will continue until July 22. This time it's a Circus theme, and it's going to be one hell of a ride! It will follow suit with the Christmas event, meaning that all the Specimen will be re-skinned with wonderfully crafted Circus themed looks, there will be 13 new achievements, one new map, and if you unlock 10 of the 13 new achievements you will be awarded with the new "SteamPunk Mr. Foster" skin!

Here's a link detailing the new update!

Also to go along with the new update, TripwireInteractive has released some new avatars for your gaming pleasure. They can be found here!

Not that this is a bad thing though, good enough reason for me to come and play again :3

Yeah, I was hoping for some new weapons too Pancakes. But for TWI to still be doing free updates on a game that's only $20 is pretty astounding. Considering both L4D games lost content support really fast, like 8 months fast! Hell, I would pay money for new weapon pack for Killing Floor!

You're going to have to be a little more specific with your problem. Otherwise no one is going to be able to help you.

I think the mash-up of monsters they have now is pretty balanced. The only real reason they added the Husk was to offset some of the more overpowered perks that allowed players to camp in certain spots on the map.
Adding new Specimen is a pretty big maybe, weapons, new perk levels (prestige levels), maps, achievements and skins on the other hand are very likely to happen.
I would love to see some more Specimen though!

How is it a non-update? There's going to be one new map, new 3d models for all of the specimen with new voice overs, 18 new achievements, and a unlockable playable character! I think that's a update.
Considering that most of the TWI programmers are working on the new RO: Heroes of Stalingrad game, I would say this is pretty astounding.
