STORY/BACKGROUND :
"Lt John H. Davidson Diary - 17/09/09
Due to London burning down, we had to leave our positions and retreat with the rest of the population. They all hope to move to the Continent but even after 4 days waiting on the coast, we are still waiting for them to show some signs of life.
Some think that the United Kingdom has been put in quarantine, but some are convinced that the infection has already spread overseas.
Personally, I'm sure about one thing, the commodity shortage is becoming serious.
Specimens not only chew our flesh and soul, they also kill our lands. Through this arid environment, we are heading to an old pumping station, with hopes to resupply our water containers.
I smell blood and death. Specimens are close.
Here begins our waterworks."

This is by far the most gorgeous custom map so far. It also feels like it has a lot of story potential with cutscenes and custom content. It looks incredible but with standard survival it feels like its missing something.
This map is absolutely beautiful, plays well too. I can honestly see this winning, awesome work.
Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way...
and the same can be said of KF-Waterworks.
If this was beta, I'd post in the Tripwire forum but because it's final, I'm posting in here. A few things to consider if you're able to update this map prior to being white listed or added to an official map pack (if that comes).
Can you tweak these emitters a little please? It appears that the water is hitting the floor, bouncing back up, and then spraying. It would look more natural if they were lowered so the action took place on the surface.

The light emitted from these bulbs is angling without any apparent reason to justify it. I may be being picky but with such general high quality elsewhere it stands out.

The textures surrounding this tunnel could do with a little tweaking. The right side looks great, but the left side is stretched and the bordering tunnel textures do not blend in.

The biggest issue I had was leading into Pumping Station 6. There is a blocking volume on the left side arch and it's really out of context and I don't understand why it's there. The arch is more than wide enough and high enough to get through and caused frustration when being chased by bots.

Regardless of those points, I still stand by the 'practically perfect in every way...' comment and award a well deserved 10/10.

All I can really say is wow. This map has passion installed right in it.
Very well done. My map pales in comparison to some of these Grindhouse maps.

I still like KF-Swamp...mainly because I built it.
This map has a few little niggets, but aside from that its really solid, once these few little issues are sorted its a definite keeper. I like it.
