Kill Fun Yeah is an online 2D platform shooter. Murder and capture your way to the top, using an ever increasing arsenal of silly weaponry and items, the powers of deflect, attract and freeze, as well as various powerups. Make your own maps, using custom made tilesets and background sprites and create your own custom player skin to make you stand out on the battlefield. The game is free to try for 3 hours with a few limitations, which, along with the time limit, are removed upon purchasing the full version.

Some of what is new in this release:

  • Added ability to spectate matches (accessible from the scoreboard).
  • Added visual indicator for when a player is typing.
  • Changed reload speed and stun duration for Zapper.
  • Changed so that deflect explosions do no damage but have increased force and radius.
  • Changed x-position for where billy rockets spawn.
  • Fixed full screen effects that were problematic on some GPUs.
  • Fixed a problem related to blood pixels making tiles flicker with OSX + Intel GPU.
  • Fixed a minor particle system memory leak.
  • Fixed a bug that would make it impossible to play certain music tracks at below 20% volume.

I bought, and there aqre never any players online. Maybe a waste of money? Maybe not? But I hope to see more people. My friends Chase or Ben might grab this game.

Keep in mind that the game is still quite young and does not have a large player base yet. We have some promo related stuff in the works though, which should bring more attention to the game in the near future.

Tried to play the demo again but it said to go online I needed the full version.
Is that true now? Also what are you supposed to do in the demo if that is the case?
Also also how many people are playing online? Are there always at least a couple people in a server at any time?

Actually I know what the problem was there were no servers up. Iwas hitting the connect to ip button thinking that maybe I needed to hit that to connect to the lobby.

That sounds strange as there should always be at least a couple of servers avaliable. Maybe you are experiencing the same problem with displaying text as the guy below? There should be some activity on at least some server during most of the day, but there are still some hours at which it can be completely empty in there.
