A free-roaming squad based RPG. Focusing on open-ended gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a mercenary, a business owner, a doctor, a bandit... the list goes on. Aid or oppose the various factions in the world while striving for the strength and wealth necessary to simply survive in the harsh desert. Purchase and upgrade your own buildings to use as safe fortified havens when things go bad, or use them to start up a business. Train your men up from puny victims to master warriors. Carry your wounded squad mates to safety and get them all home alive.
This game is, in its very base state, good. It is pretty entertaining even with the limited number of features currently available. It has a lot of potential, and the dev really seems to have a good idea of where he wants to go with his project. The combat is fun to and interesting to watch and the "health" system is pretty unique. Deffinitely try the demo, at the very least.
While the game is still in Alpha, it's hard to ignore the possibilities this game offers. The combat, though clunky at the moment, is quite fun to watch, especially when 20+ soldiers go at it.
This game is for those who like to have a sandbox experience. There is no set story or endgame. A person can be a town builder, trader, soldier, marauder, etc, which makes this game quite replayable.
Gameplay - 9/10. The only reason I give this such a high score is that I can see the potential it has. Being unfinished, this game's combat is a little unpolished and some of the other mechanics are not functioning fully.
Graphics - 9/10. Indie game, small team, LARGE world. The graphics are rather amazing for a game like this.
Audio - ?/10. Can't really say much, there isn't any.
Story - ?/10. Unless I missed it, there's no story yet. I'm not entirely sure if there will ever be one. However, this is totally fine with me as I'm having fun making my own back story.
Replayability - 9/10. You have a lot of options in what you want to be. Roleplaying fans, eat your heart out.
I would give it a 10 but its not finished otherwise It is awesome and I look forward to seeing more fixes and improvements. This game has came along way and only gets better.Try it, just because there are no zombes does't mean it isn't fun.;)
