A free-roaming squad based RPG. Focusing on open-ended gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a mercenary, a business owner, a doctor, a bandit... the list goes on.

I'm uploading update 0.42.2 right now. It fixes most of the major bugs that have been reported.
Now I've hired a freelance programmer to do a few auxiliary jobs. First he's going to implement Wwise, a professional grade audio engine. After that I can hire a professional sound designer, and the game will finally have sound. Good sound too, I'm not cutting corners.
That will take a while though, if after the next update anyone starts going "Where's the audio? You said you did sound" then they will get a slap.
As for me I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing next, but it will be a bigger update this time. So I'll be going off radar a bit and focusing on work. It might be the new character creation, possibly even the new bigger world map. Then I can have famous foliage modder Vurt make the new biomes.
Here are the changes for the last update:

Highest Rated (70 agree) 10/10
Kenshi is a very ambitious game, it is as of the moment I'm writing this in a very unfinished state, but it's fun to play and it looks like with more love and care, this will be an absolutely great game.
Therefore I'm voting this a 10, I also bought the game to support the (currently) only developer working on it.
Despite the crashes, the content the game has now, made by only a single developer is very impressive in my opinion.
Thumbs up :)

In it's current state, it deserves a one.
But because it's being updated and because its from one dude, it deserves a 4.
When its finally released, hopefully it will be worth a 10.
I don't see why people are just spamming 10 on this, lets be honest. in its current state, it is pretty sh*t. But we can all agree it WILL turn out great. (Don't hate me for the low rate, i'll re-review it with a high score as the game is being made. Or when its finished.)

Hmm. Odds of me preordering ever just went from slim to pretty much none. I mean I still have hopes the game might turn out well and would probably buy it once it reached something resembling a released state, assuming the price reflects the over all quality..
But preordering? When the price has gone up before any noticable progress has been displayed where I could find it? Yea, my hope for the games future isnt gone but it's taken a huge hit.
Need more indie open ended/sandbox games.
Keep up the amazing work!
what are all the input controls for the game?
why is there nothing to explain how to do anything?
why are there no control settings?
I've come to expect this on PC games, even in early testing stages. Can you implement this sometime soon, even if it is only basic?
Or could you post a link to a web page that would explain some basics of the control scheme?
I don't even feel like playing the demo because all I know how to do is run around, move the camera, and talk to people...
thanks
there is a quickstart guide in the game folder "manual.htm". There is also a wiki getting started on the main site. configurable controls will be added later on.
awesome, thanks :)

Maybe its the currency? United states currency is worth more then Canadian currency. But i am canadian and it shows up as $12.38. Not sure what currency he is using tho. Thats my guess
I got it 2 days ago from the main site for only 9.99 USD. I quite like the game. A lot of potential.
