A free-roaming squad based RPG. Focusing on open-ended gameplay features rather than a linear story. Be a trader, a thief, a rebel, a mercenary, a business owner, a doctor, a bandit... the list goes on. Aid or oppose the various factions in the world while striving for the strength and wealth necessary to simply survive in the harsh desert. Purchase and upgrade your own buildings to use as safe fortified havens when things go bad, or use them to start up a business. Train your men up from puny victims to master warriors. Carry your wounded squad mates to safety and get them all home alive.

The 0.40 update will be ready in the next few days.

Posted by captain_deathbeard on Feb 8th, 2013

The 0.40 update will be ready in the next few days. I will call it 0.39 and release it in the testers forum first, because with all these new features it will no doubt be riddled with bugs. After about a week of testing and bug fixing I will properly release version 0.40 through the auto-updater and everything.

So its about a week and a half, but you can play with it early next week if you want to get the test release.

Remember, once 0.40 is released, the price will be going up! So be sure to buy it soon if you have been putting it off.

I'm also working on setting up another interview, with someone more professional this time and it will be a youtube video, so I'll put the link up when its done.

Here's the 2nd finished outfit. It's going to be worn by a warrior monk faction who will specialise in unarmed combat when its finally added.

Though its hard to start out, once I was able to start taking down bandits the game flowed easier. I took to waiting for bandit attacks on towns, then running out with the milita and ninja looting corpses while they continued to fight. Keep up the good work!

Did a new reinstall and now it's working! Awesome! But now a lot of the old stuff I could build, included the new stuff like walls aren't awailible to buy. I can't even see them in the build meny. Anyone more having the same issue`?

You need to research them all :)
You can craft a research bench and set one of your guys to work on it, and you slowly unlock more building options.

I'll be buying AFTER the price increase :)

Don't mind paying more, this game looks like a really worthwhile effort, so I'm happy to put a few more gold pieces into the developer's pocket. It will add to the incentive to keep developing !
