Katawa Shoujo is a bishoujo-style visual novel set in the fictional Yamaku High School for disabled children, located somewhere in modern Japan. Hisao Nakai, a normal boy living a normal life, has his life turned upside down when a congenital heart defect forces him to move to a new school after a long hospitalization. Despite his difficulties, Hisao is able to find friends—and perhaps love, if he plays his cards right. There are five main paths corresponding to the 5 main female characters, each path following the storyline pertaining to that character. The story is told through the perspective of the main character, using a first person narrative. This game uses a traditional text and sprite-based visual novel model with an ADV text box. Katawa Shoujo is under development by an international team of amateur developers, and will be released free of charge under the Creative Commons BY-NC-ND License.
I love the endings of almost every girl, but my favorite path is Lily's one, it's so touching yet so realistic, when she almost come back to scotland and Hisao dont let her go, I never played a VN like this before, keep it up the good work :)

"But this has a rating! Did you average the scores?"
- No, that's just what I gave this game personally. Check the reviews for different looks.
"Why not just post them here?"
- These review blocks don't have nearly enough room.
A very good "game" I just have one of the many possiblities and altough my ending was a little disapointing I dont know how the other ends will be like, all I can say is PLAY IT! you will not regret it, and as I said I think there is alot of endings and I will try to find some more. Totaly fantastic, no negative about this masterpiece.
Katawa Shoujo is a great visual novel, I have played quite a bit of them from Fate/Stay Night to Clannad which btw are my favorites and at first i thought that the concept of people with disability was weird (not to be prestigious against them) but in fact it added to the story and the depth of the game's story making it even more deep and heart felt. The bakcrounds are not drawn but pictures I think i would prefer drawn backrounds but pictures but its not a big deal i usually don't even notice and I am sure some people would prefer pictures over drawing but in the end i still think this is a great game even if your this is your first visual novel.
