Brings you back to Arulco. Although what you find there is in no way pleasing! The population is being terrorized by a reckless army; in the meantime the main export goods are drugs. Subversion and fraudulence has infiltrated all levels of local government and the ever-present Mafia has his fingers in many pies. You are working undercover on behalf of the US government and your goal is to destroy the mighty drug cartel. You'll need a skilled hand to put together the right team of mercenaries, the negotiating skills of a diplomat to get the sceptical population onto your side. More importantly, you must have the strategic genius of a general and the fighting tactics of a guerrilla. Should you fail, your "client" will deny all knowledge of your existence.

Agree Disagree

JA2:Wildfire is more a remake of the original JA2 than an add-on or a sequel. It adds some nice elements to the game.
Two issues with this game are not so good.

1) Unbalanced
The game is simply too hard on either difficulty. Nothing wrong about a good challenge for experienced players. But most people will simply be frustrated by the hard and often unforgiving gameplay.

2) Unpolished
Compared to original JA2, JA2:WF is buggier, crashes more often, has overall more raw edges. The new mercs don't feel half as believable as the old ones.

As a conclusion, JA2:WF is an okay game. Compared to original JA2, it is inferior.
