Jagged Alliance is a turn-based type strategy game, where the player takes the command of a mercenary team, and fights to fullfill many different missions. Jagged Alliance covers other aspects of mercenary life too - organizing the action, finding the mercenaries, finances. JA quickly became very popular all over the world. The sequel and a few mission packs were released, too.

This is one of those games that on my "I love it to death but I just CANNOT complete it because it's too f-ing hard" list together with Wizardry 7 and 8, Ninja Gaiden, Mega Man 9 and a whole slew of others. I've restarted so many times and I fail every time. I heard the end game is even more brutal... :(

Just want to say JA2 is the best game ever developed (unless someone would reprogram it in 3d, with new graphics and still keep the normal qualities...)
Jagged Alliance 3 is set to use the Silent Storm engine..which would, imo be a better game
Several are in development now... Including the one for my Avatar :)

yeah ure right, ja2 s been modded. i played the urban chaos mod ,got it from gamershell. Gamershell.com
if u like ja2 , ull love that, its a complete remake, new story , new items, guns n stuff
