This is a 3d remake of the classic NES title Jackal' I'm keeping the level design and gameplay as true to the original as I can' It's plain and simple arcade style action: run over enemy soldiers in your jeep and shoot the tanks' Rescue the hostages and get them to the chopper to earn powerups' You start with grenades and upgrade to missiles, 2-way missiles, and 4-way missiles' The final version will be cooperative multiplayer(up to 4) over the network instead of the original NES 2 player mode'
The Beta version of Jackal has been released. The game is about 90% done right now, but I thought I'd release this version while I continue to finish up the rest of the game. Details on what remains to be completed can be found over at the Jackal 3D homepage. Oh yeah, this beta version *should*

Oh yeah, this beta version *should* be multiplayer compatible over tcp/ip and lan, but I haven't had a chance to test it out yet. If anyone can test multiplayer to see if it actually does work, please let me know!
